Positive Help is a registered charity which offers practical help to adults and children in Edinburgh and Lothian who are living with HIV and AIDS.

Our Vision-

We need the help of new volunteers, of all ages and from all walks of life, who can offer time and genuine commitment to our service users. Volunteers are given training, which covers all aspects of working with people living with HIV, support and supervision. All out of pocket expenses are paid. The next volunteer training commences in the Spring 2010.

Programmes and Activities-

We offer the following services:
Children and young people's befriending service - Volunteers are matched with families and take children on outings or activites they enjoy.
Driving service - Volunteers take people to and from hospital appointments, G.P. appointments, Milestone House or community based activities.
Home Support service for families and individuals - Volunteers provide practical help around the house, such as cleaning, tidying, washing, ironing, basic DIY and gardening.
